The course aims to provide a solid knowledge of business administration and the necessary preparation for a successful continuation of the course of study.

The course aims to provide students with the essential elements inherent in the production of legal rules by public authorities (the sources of law) and its organization both at state, regional, local and European level.
In particular, the course will provide students with the tools to understand the formalization of choices by constitutional bodies and the institutional mechanisms related to political dynamics.
Knowledge of the main Italian public law institutions with particular attention to sources of law, constitutional bodies, rights of liberty, public administration and regional and local law.

The course consists of lectures which presents the main topics of Financial Accounting and addresses related cases and exercises.

In particular, it consists of an introduction to data analysis and a presentation of elementary notions of probability theory and statistical inference. The importance of statistics in various disciplines will also be emphasized.

The course aims to provide knowledge on the preparation of financial statements according to international accounting standards and to present the main operational issues related to the preparation of the consolidated financial statements

The course is aimed at students who already have a basic knowledge of English and at the development of their specific language skills (intermediate level). The course will deal with the commercial, economic and financial sector of the language, necessary for the understanding of texts of specialized content and interaction in the real working world. To this end, lectures will be equally divided between the teaching and consolidation of grammatical and morphosyntactic knowledge and the development of the sectorial micro-language.

Monetary Economics

The course offers an introductory and analytical treatment of the fundamentals of valuation in the context of bond products and bond derivatives. Starting from the skills of risk return, the course analyzes the main instruments as well as the techniques used in the interest rate segment, with reference to both basic instruments and linear derivatives. The different topics are treated both from a theoretical point of view and from an applied point of view, with the use of Excel and other software.

Learning objectives
Active course attendance and study allow the student to:
- know the institutional characteristics of the domestic and international bond market (knowledge and understanding);
- be able to understand the basic concepts of yield and risk in the context of interest rate models (knowledge and understanding);
- be able to calculate the different measures of risk and return in an interest rate book context (applying knowledge and understanding);
- be able to estimate the price of linear interest rate derivatives (applying knowledge and understanding);
- know the most up-to-date topics on innovative products from academic and professional publications and sites (learning skills).

Students are provided with exercises and are assigned a project work that allows them to develop the ability to search for data and information to be processed, to develop advanced quantitative modeling and to arrive at conclusions regarding the evaluation of the risk return of financial products (making judgments); to work in a team and to organize and manage a project (learning skills) and communication with the teacher; the ability to communicate results, revealing critical points and analyzing the output using independent judgment (communication skills), managing Excel and any programming languages (communication skills).
