FORMATIVE OBJECTIVES
The course is aimed at providing students with the preliminary concepts for the understanding of the genetics bases of the pathogenic diseases.
EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS
1) To develope the knowledge of the molecular, cytogenetic and formal bases of human genetics.
2) To understand the inheritance patterns of genetic diseases
3) To be able to apply the knowledge developed in 1 and 2 for the understanding of specific cases
4) To be able to express themselves with appropriate scientific terminology
5) To have developed the capacity to understand the inheritance patterns of genetics diseases that had not been tackled during the course
