(syllabus)
Greek history and literary texts: from the Palatial Age to the Peloponnesian War. The main themes of Greek history will be investigated by the lecturer through the reading in Italian of texts by Greek authors, which gradually during the course will offer the possibility of specific insights. In the final part of the course, the role of Socrates in Athens from the Periclean period until the trial of 399 b. C.will be analysed.
