(objectives)
The aim of the course is to provide mathematical formalization and modeling tools, which can be used in various application contexts.
The expected learning outcomes are as follows. 1. Knowledge and understanding: knowing and understanding the mathematical models and the algorithmic methods used in the description and solution of application problems. 2. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: to be able to solve application problems using the methods studied. 3. Autonomy of judgment: knowing how to use the acquired knowledge to express autonomous evaluation in the different application contexts. 4. Communication skills: acquire the rigorous language typical of mathematics to communicate clearly and without ambiguity with specialist and non-specialist interlocutors. 5. Learning skills: develop adequate skills that allow you to autonomously explore mathematical issues in the contexts in which you will be working.
