Motor and sports activities in natural environments
(objectives)
Knowledge and understanding The course aims to provide students with the appropriate knowledge to understand the value of physical activity and sports practice carried out in the natural environment. The course is aimed at transmitting technical and didactic skills useful for understanding the integration between the promotion of a state of well-being and health through physical and sporting activity carried out in the natural environment and the full use of the potential offered by the territory (hills, lake, etc.).
Applying knowledge and understanding At the end of the course, students will be able to acquire specific skills for the design, management and evaluation of motor and sports activities that can be carried out in different natural environments. To this end, together with the theoretical part, the course includes also the performance of an exercise teaching activity that will put the student in a position to experience specific didactic progressions.
Autonomy of judgment At the end of the course, the student will be able to understand and critically evaluate the theoretical and practical-applicative notions, in relation to the different proposals for physical and sports activity, to the different environmental contexts and to the specific needs of the different populations to which they are addressed. exercise programs.
Communication skills At the end of the course, the student will be enabled to know and use a correct writing technique and terminology for the preparation of specific physical activity and sports programs. Furthermore, the student will acquire the specific knowledge to use new technologies useful for improving the relationship and communication with the users of physical exercise programs.
Learning skills The structure of the course is aimed at creating a harmonization between the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical-operational skills, also by means of the construction of a specific internship network to be carried out in the structures and in the areas closest to the natural environments that will be covered in the course
