The course is divided into three macro-sections: The first section covers the basic concepts of Supply Chain Management and its various sub-functions. This part will be articulated as follows: • Basic Principles of Supply Chain Management • Description of the Procurement function in the private and public sectors • Fundamentals of manufacturing and logistics • Indicators and metrics for supply chain management • Practical Applications and Optimization of Supply Chain Management The second section delves into sustainability issues within the supply chain, exploring the ecological, social and economic dimensions. This part will cover the following aspects: • Introduction to sustainable supply chains, with a focus on eco-design • Green sourcing and supplier collaboration • The social impact of supply chain management • Economic aspects of sustainable supply chain management • Sustainable management of global supply chains The third section focuses on innovative elements related to sustainability and will focus on the following topics: • The influence of innovation in supply chain management • Interaction of sustainability and innovation in supply chain management • Technologies to Support Supply Chain Management • Digital supply chain and its economic benefits • Innovation as a driver of sustainability in Supply Chain Management
