Knowledge and understanding: students will acquire the elements useful for the knowledge of the structural organizational and management characteristics of the agri-food sector and of its role within the socio-economic system.
Applying knowledge and understanding: students will be able to understand the policies that regulate the functioning of the agri-food sector, knowing its fundamental elements and interpreting its reasons.
Making judgments: students will develop independent judgment regarding the possibilities of development of the agri-food sector both in relation to the role it plays in the economy and society and to the opportunities offered by the various measures of agricultural policy.
Communication skills: students will develop the aptitude for critical evaluation of the agro-food sector as a whole and the ability to argue about the legislative provisions related to it.
Learning skills: students will be able to continue their studies and, in particular, to integrate the acquired knowledge regarding the economy of the agri-food sector with those of the other courses of the economic disciplinary field.
