The course aims to provide advanced tools for the analysis of structured and unstructured data in application contexts related to finance and control.
The educational objectives and expected learning outcomes are as follows:
• Knowledge and comprehension skills
Acquisition of basic knowledge of programming in order to make the student able to perform in complete autonomy statistical analysis on shared databases.
• Applied knowledge and understanding
The student must be able to apply the knowledge of computer science and data analysis in solving problems related to new or unfamiliar issues, placed in broader contexts.
• Autonomy of judgment
The student must be able to critically analyze the proposed algorithm for solving the problem by highlighting its criticality and strengths

The student must acquire ownership of technical language of the computer science/statistics area
