(syllabus)
With regard to the linguistic part, the vocabulary and registers (functional styles) of Russian will be studied in depth, as well as a reflection on the morphosyntax of Russian which integrates with previous linguistic knowledge.
Regarding the historical-literary and literary theory part, an overview of avant-gardes (The Brothers of Serapion), V. Šklovskij's "theory of prose", and in particular the dystopian novel Noi by E. Zamyatin will be outlined.
The course will proceed with:
1) introduction to the technical and thematic analysis of the literary text
2) reflections on the relationship between literature, art, society.
