Experimental Aquaculture.
During the course students will gain basic knowledge about the current state of the aquaculture sector, species of major interest, rearing techniques and methodologies currently used worldwide. At the end of the course, students are expected to have gained:
-Knowledge and understanding concerning the current state and future trends of the aquaculture sector.
-Applied knowledge and understanding of farming techniques and methodologies used worldwide.
-Be able to make judgements by reading, understanding and critically evaluating scientific literature provided during the lectures.
-Communication skills developed through the presentation of a scientific paper.
-Learning skills by using proper technical language, reasoning abilities and critical thinking.
