a) Educational Goals
In line with the educational objectives of the degree course in 'Agricultural and Environmental Sciences' teaching imparted to students who choose the profile 'Certification of product quality and agricultural processes', has the general objective to acquire basic knowledge and application on concept of total quality of food of animal origin and the certification and traceability systems.

b) Expected results
At the end, students will be able to:
- Recognize and discuss the parameters that express the concepts of total quality;
- Be able to understand what environmental and genetic factors are responsible for the quality changes;
- Gain knowledge about systems of certification and traceability of animal products.
