The Applied Criminology laboratory provides the following program:

- Introduction to the Laboratory, description of its aims and organization
- presentation of the main areas subject to in-depth analysis, study, research and exercise;
- Analysis of serial murder and investigation with the application of the Criminal Profiling technique through the study of a real case of Italian serial murder;
- Psychological autopsy of the victim as an investigative technique: study of the main protocols of Psychological Autopsy at national and international level; application of a Psychological Autopsy protocol to a real practical case; study and design of new applicative proposals of Psychological Autopia; design of a possible new model of Psychological Autopsy;
- Analysis of crimes and criminal behavior in the contexts of emotional and proximity relationships: violence and crime in the family; stalking; Femicide and gender-based violence; the New Red Code on the protection of vulnerable victims; the new crimes of sexting and revenge porn
