The history of the Weimar Republic has significantly characterized the history of Europe in the 20th century. The aim of the Contemporary History course is to deepen the knowledge of the most relevant characteristics of that experience, framed within the Twentieth Century european history. The course of Contemporary History will address the following topics: 1. The situation of Germany after the First World War; 2. The birth of the Weimar Republic; 3. The constitution; 4. The party system; 5. The revolutionary movements; 6. The transformations of german society during the 1920s; 7. The end of the Weimar Republic.
