The course will introduce students to the principles and approaches of geopedological investigation. The course aims to provide basic knowledge on the genesis and evolution of soils and on the relationships between landscape and soil profile. The course aims to provide the basis for further specialized studies in the field of soil as a non-renewable environmental resource in a changing landscape.
