The course aims at providing a detailed historical overview of the social, political and economic changes occurred in the twentieth century, with a particular attention to the roots of the contemporary world and the challenges of the twenty-first century.The course will offer students historical knowledge necessary to understand and interpret the social, political, and institutional and economic reforms in the contemporary world.
