EDUCATIONAL AIMS:
The course aims at developing language skills at a pre-intermediate level (B1 in the V Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), focusing on building essential grammatical and lexical foundations.
Lectures are partly organised in in-class practice tests coherent with the International Preliminary English Test (PET). A selection of scientific texts, uploaded to the Moodle page of the course, will be analysed so that to build lexical knowledge and debating skills related to Natural Sciences subjects.
