Personal informations: Andrea Luigi Facci was born in Marostica (VI) on October 29 1984. In October 2006 he graduated with honors in Energy Engineering at the University of Roma “Tor Vergata”. In October 2008 he got the master degree, with honors, in Energy engineering at the University of Roma “Tor Vergata”. In July 2012 he got the PhD in “Energy and Environmental Engineering” at the University of Roma “Tor Vergata” discussing the thesis “Development and validation of a multi-scale engine simulation tool”. From January 2012 to August 2012 he was employed as a Research fellow at the “Polytechnic Institute” of New York University. From September 2012 to February 2013 he was employed as a contract researcher at the Department of Economy and Business of the University of “Tuscia” and at CINTEST. From April 2013 to December 2014 he was employed as assistant professor (ex lege 240/2010 art. 3/a) at the Department of Engineering of the University of Napoli “Parthenope”, in charge of the course of internal combustion engine, for the master degree in industrial engineering. From January 2015 to December 2017 he was assistant professor (ex lege 240/2010 art. 3/a) at the university of “Tuscia”, in charge of the course of machinery design for the degree in industrial engineering. From January 2018 to date he is assistant professor (ex lege 240/2010 art. 3/b) at the Department of Economics, Engineering, Society, and Business of the University of “Tuscia”, in charge of the course of machinery design, and fluid machinery for the degree in industrial engineering Scientific Activity: Andrea Luigi Facci (co)authored 38 papers in refereed international and national journals and conference proceedings, in the fields of energy systems, energy efficiency, fuel cells science, thermo-fluid dynamics, computational fluid dynamics, fluid-structure interaction, and internal combustion engines. He has served as a refereed for numerous Journals on energy systems and efficiency, internal combustion engines, and computational fluid dynamics (Applied energy, Energy conversion and management, Mathematical problems in engineering, Journal of Fuels,Journal of fluids and structures, Ocean Engineering). He also served as a referee for ICNNAM-2013 and 2015 AIP international conferences and for EFC-2015 and 2017 international conferences. He has been collaborating to several research projects and contracts on energy system efficiency, internal combustion engines, thermo-fluid dynamics and fluid structure interaction.
