Curriculum
Tiziana Castrignanò is a Professor of Bioinformatics at Tuscia University with extensive
experience in the development of complex bioinformatics pipelines, particularly focused on big data
omics analysis. Her primary activity involves both the construction of genomic and transcriptomic
resources and the development of high-performance bioinformatics pipelines and databases.
Furthermore, she is also involved in molecular docking and dynamic simulation of ligand-receptor
macromolecular systems. All the bioinformatics resources she develops are designed with the goal
of detecting or discovering new biological events underlying complex processes. The tools she has
developed have been published and utilized in numerous national and international bioinformatics
research projects. She is the author of more than 80 articles published in international peer-reviewed
journals, with an h-index of 28 on Scopus and 31 on Google Scholar.
