During the course the student will improve the vocabulary, the pronunciation of the single characters, will be able to structure the sentence, with gradually more complex grammatical elements to achieve long periods. He will be able to read (without the help of transliteration into the Latin alphabet) and translate texts of medium difficulty, from Chinese to Italian and vice versa. During the course we will deal with the following grammatical and morphosyntactic structures: pivot sentences, aspectual particles, verbal complements, adverbs, the shi ... de structure, the structure with the preposition ba, The course includes an in-depth study of Chinese literature ranging from the Tang dynasty to the Yuan dynasty. An excursus on the meaning of writing, the periodization of history and the great classics of Chinese literature is foreseen with a look at the philosophical currents of the past.
