The course tackles the main structural and contextual dimension of a business organization and it is structured in four parts. In the first part students are introduced to basic theoretical elements necessary to interpret and understand business organizations. In the second part students are introduced to the basic principles of organizational design, and on the structural and contextual aspects which are affected by the design process. The third part focuses on the analysis of the main individual and groups dynamics related to decision making and also addresses the impact of technology usage and organizational culture. The fourth part focuses on the analysis of organizational change.
