DIGITAL CULTURE AND SOCIAL MEDIA
(objectives)
The aim of the course is to analyse and fix the typical characteristics of digital cultures, in the light of the birth and development of their main communication platforms. For this reason, theoretical and practical tools will be provided:
- Understanding the experiential dimension of digital cultures;
- Define and interpret the typical media scenario of digital cultures;
- Understanding the impact of connective technologies on the transformation of the cultural industry, on relational and identity practices;
- Analysing social, cultural, economic and professional practices related to the media of the digital age.
