The course will explore the following subjects: comparative law: goals and methodology; civil law vs. common law; forms of State; forms of government; electoral systems and political parties; constitutions and legal sources; constitutional review; rights and freedoms; comparative law in action: selected topics

Attending students will be tested on the subjects touched upon throughout the course.
Non Italian-speaking students are allowed to sit the exam and being tested on the following textabooks:
