Nodes and questions of Italian literature of the 21st century
The course examines the evolutionary processes of poetry and fiction in the first twenty years of the 21st century, read from the perspective of the radical transformation of society in terms of communication and relationship with tradition. We will focus on thematic, linguistic, structural issues of the texts, with analysis and reading of particularly significant authors.
Bibliography:
Students will have to prepare the entire manual FLORIANA CALITTI (edited by), The life of the texts. Themes and issues of the contemporary, Zanichelli, Bologna 2015.
Students should read the following novels: - Isabella Becherucci, The friends of Brusuglio, Perrone publisher, Rome 2021 - A novel chosen by Niccolò Ammaniti among those indicated (I am not afraid, Come God commands, Me and you, Anna)
Students NOT ATTENDING, in addition to the above program, will have to study: - Fabio Pierangeli, Eraldo Affinati. The gift school, Studium Edizioni, Rome 2019
Development of the course: I semester. The lessons will take place in compliance with the Department Directives on the subject of COVID containment. In the case of distance learning, the lessons will NOT be recorded.
