At the end of each module, the students must produce a paper concerning the topics discussed in class. At the end of the course, there will be an oral exam.
The course aims at providing the basic concepts of Sustainable Digital Industrial Logistics with specific reference to green and blue economy. In particular, the students will explore challenges and opportunities of the logistics, intermodal logistics, valorization of the territory resource, the complexity behind the management of the logistics operations, the environmental urgencies connected to the international strategies, the new modalities of logistic programming, physical, informative, and organizational management of transport and procurement, as well as economic and sustainability impacts. Furthermore, the course aims to provide knowledge and understanding of technology strategies, manufacturing and industrial processes, services and Operation Management for an ecological transition, the basic principles of circular economy. The students will constantly interact with the professor through a critical analysis of the topics previously discussed in class. They will acquire, in addition, communication skills by presenting projects and subjects of the class are fundamental; learning skills of the basic principles of the methods and techniques of the topics covered by the course.
