EFFICIENZA ENERGETICA E IMPATTO AMBIENTALE
(objectives)
The aim of the course is to provide students with the tools to learn about issues related to energy sources, their impact on the environment and how to manage their planning. The course also provides students with the basic concepts, definitions and the method for performing the analysis of the life cycle of products and services, starting from the analysis of basic processes in the energy, manufacturing and agri-food industry. 1 - Knowledge and understanding: to provide students with the basic theoretical skills for the development of LCA studies and the methodological and operational knowledge in the field of energy efficiency. 2 - Applied knowledge and understanding: making students autonomous in the use of software for LCA analyzes and acquiring methodological tools to intervene with specific competence in energy management at an industrial level. 3 - Making judgments: knowing how to choose the most appropriate strategy to set up an LCA study and address the problems connected with energy efficiency. 4 - Communication skills: present in written, oral and graphic form, the results deriving from LCA studies and knowing how to interface with the different skills involved in the energy efficient and eco-oriented design process. 5 - Learning skills: knowing how to identify the information necessary for the development of LCA studies and energy efficiency and knowing how to find them in scientific literature, manuals or textbooks.
