The course is aimed at students who already have basic knowledge of the English language and aims at: 1. Knowledge and understanding of oral and written English: developing specific, intermediate-level language skills in the commercial, economic and financial sector; 2. applying knowledge and Understanding: the understanding of specialized texts and interaction in the job market. To this end, the hours of class teaching will be equally divided between the teaching and consolidation of grammatical and morphosyntactic knowledge and the development of sectorial micro-language. The expected learning outcomes include: 3. making judgements: the ability to decide the correct linguistic communicative skills in different contexts and use adequate terminology; 4. Communication skills: oral and written production in English level B1 of the CEFR; 5. Learning skills: transversal and metalinguistic competences; digital skills for e-learning activities and self-assessment capacity.
