(syllabus)
The course program is divided into three modules: MODULE 1: Elements of Programming (2 CFU: 12 hours) The basic elements of programming will be introduced, in particular data types, arithmetic and data operations, data representation, graphical display, loops and control instructions and function definitions will be explained. These elements will be explored through their application using RStudio software. MODULE 2: Data Representation (2 CFU: 12 hours) This module will introduce the concept of Database, model entity relationship and relational algebra and calculus. MODULE 3: Data Processing (2 CFU: 12 hours) The concepts of descriptive statistics will be applied in Excel and RStudio and real test cases will be analyzed.
