(syllabus)
The course aims to provide students with the knowledge of the operating elements of the bodies and institutes envisaged by Italian and European public law with regard to the pursuit of security understood both as public order and as legal security (legality). To this end, the following topics will be analyzed:
- constitutional concept of security, constitutional jurisprudence also relating to relations between State and Regions in matters of security and local security; - organization of the Ministry of the Interior, the Seized Assets Agency and the role of the Prefects; - national anti-corruption authority, functioning, competent and acts; - intervention tools for security and legality in the economic sector with particular reference to the anti-mafia.
