(syllabus)
The course aims to provide a general reference framework on typical moments of public administration (organization, management and information accounting system). In particular, the first module of the course will be dedicated: to the general corporate framework of the public administration with attention to typical economic processes, to the identification of the characteristics of the "new" local public company and to the analysis of the public managerial process. The second module, on the other hand, will focus in particular on the information-accounting system of public administrations. The main subject of the course will be the local authority. The main topics are: - Public Administration: definition and conceptual framework, characteristic features of the PA, typical economic functions. - New Public Management. - The organization of local authorities. - The programming and planning of public administration. - Reporting in public administration.
