The course aims to provide a theoretical-conceptual and practical background that allows the student to master the main detection techniques and be able to perform analysis of statistical data related to one or more economic phenomena observed over time and / or in space.
The knowledge acquired during (and through) the course of "Economic Statistics" will allow students to develop the ability to collect, analyze and interpret data - through the ability to know how to select the most appropriate statistical models and tools - deemed useful to determine independent judgments, including reflection on economic, social, scientific or ethical issues connected to them, Thanks to the skills acquired, the students - consistently with the educational objectives of the course - will have the necessary preparation to be able to operate in different business functions in an informed and autonomous way.
