The plant cell. The cell wall. Plastids and chloroplast structure. Vacuole (structure and function). Autotrophic and heterotrophic organisms. Notes on the morphology of the root, the stem, and the leaf. Biodiversity and plant classification. Main morphological, biological, and ecological aspects of: Bacteria, Cyanobacteria, Algae, Fungi, Lichens, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Spermatophytes. Environmental parameters: water availability, light, temperatures, substrate, atmosphere, climate: their influence on biodeteriogen agents and biodegradative processes. Biodegradative processes on different substrates: wood, paper, lytic substrate, glass, metal, photographic material, compound materials (paintings). Biodegradative processes in different environments: confined spaces (archives, museums, churches, catacombs), outdoor environments (urban, rural and coastal), semiconfined environments. Fountains, water lilies, rocky environments. Palinology, archeocarpology, aerobiology. The landscape. Weeds. Archaeological areas. Hazard Index. History of the gardens. Public and private gardens.
