(syllabus)
The course illustrates the general features of the history, society and artistic culture of the Etruscans from the early Iron Age to Romanization, with particular attention to the framing of the phenomena in the historical context of the ancient Mediterranean. The main aspects of the organization of society, artistic production, architecture and religion of the Etruscans will be taken into consideration.
