Module:

1) Knowledge and understanding: Developing the knowledge of materials for the production of substrates for nurseries, the chemical, physical and biological characteristics of substrate fertility, the methods of analysis and the normative references of the substrates; 2) Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: knowing how to apply the understanding of the multiplicity of factors that influence the cultivation substrates and knowing how to apply specific technical-agronomic solutions in different situations. Autonomy of judgment: To be able to design cultivation substrates, with particular attention to the choice of materials and their management. 4) Learning skills: To be able to describe the issues inherent in the choice and management of cultivation substrates. This skill will be developed through the active involvement of students through oral discussions in classroom, laboratory and during exercises. 5) Communication skills: To be able to face questions speaking with an appropriate technical language.
