(syllabus)
The course consists of two parts, an institutional and a monographic one. 1) In its institutional part (4 credits, about 24 academic hours) the course will present the history and basics of glottological analysis. 2) The monographic part will be divided as follows: 2a) (4 credits, about 24 academic hours) training and the history of Judeo-languages, with particular reference to the Romance and Italo-Romance varieties; 2b) (2 credits, about 12 academic hours) historical-linguistic commentary on some Judeo-Romance and Judeo-Italian texts.
Section 2b is addressed to students of curriculum A, "Literature and civilization", who must obtain 10 credits in this exam. Students of curriculum B (8 credits) who still would like to attend the lessons of this last section will be welcome.
