(syllabus)
The course aims to develop the knowledge of the foreign language by studying the translation problems of a written and oral text, from the Spanish to the Italian language, paying particular attention to the non-secondary aspect of the frequent risky affinity between these two expressive codes. The knowledge of the "hispanoblante" world as a viaticum of intercultural competence will also be taken into consideration, focusing on the expressive modalities of the Spanish language as used in / by the media, in/by tourism, in/by the law, in/by journalism, in/by advertising, in/by politics. The linguistic key functions (argumentation, persuasion, etc.) will be fathomed to induce students to criticize linguistic mechanisms in the construction of the discourse according to its aims and pragmatic characteristics.
