The course provides and introduction to the problems and methods of intelligence, defined as the ability to acquire and understand strategic information.
The centrality of information in the contemporary society highlights the validity of a sociological perspective, blended with contributions from other disciplines such as law, economy, psychology and computer science.
The goal is to shed light on the use of intelligence to confront political and social challenges, such as: contrast to disinformation; political radicalization; religious radicalization.
