Data Quality: Principal parameters for the validation of an analytical method: detection and quantification limits, sensibility, robustness, recovery and use of certified materials; analytic approximation referred to law limits and interpretation of experimental data; expression of analytical results; systematic and random contribution to the approximation. (DM 260/2010, allegato 1, Pag 29-30).
Sampling and sample preparation: sampling representativeness considering the adopted sampling technique; sample storage; compatibility of the sample with the instrumental techniques; sample pretreatment: liquid-liquid and liquid-solid extraction; sample purification. Analytical organic chemistry: mixtures separation: crystallizzation, solvent extraction: extrazion with supercritic fluids, distillation, cromathografy. Chromatography: theoretical considerations, partition coefficient, resolution. Chromatographic techniques: adsorption, partition, ionic exchange, exclusion. Cromathographic methods: TLC, Gascromathography, HPLC. Spectroscopy: the electromagnetic spectrum, radiation-matter interaction, effect of the chemical structure on the absorption, Lambert-Beer law. Principal environmental applications of the atomic and molecular spectroscopy: flame and graphite atomizers for the atomic absorption; plasma spectroscopy, ICP-MS; UV-Vis spectrophotometry, IR. Calibration Methods: external calibration, use of an internal standard, adding method.
