STORIA MODERNA
(objectives)
The general objective is to master the history of the economic and cultural expansion of the West between the fourteenth and the twentieth centuries. During the course a seminar will be held for those attending the class. In this seminar will be studied the re-elaboration of modern history, both in modern and later centuries. At the end of the course, students must be able to: 1) present the topics covered; 2) interpret the main events autonomously (over the centuries and in the geographic areas faced); 3) follow the ways in which these events have been replicated by specialist historiography, literature and mass media at that time and in our time.
