The Course will be focused on the principal items of Political Science, starting from the problem of defining Political Science itself – both form an historical point of view as well as form the theoretical. Also main methodological acquisition of Political Science, the role of lobbies, parties, political groups in general, electoral systems, the problems of political representation, the morphology of parliaments, the variety of democracies as well as populism and the relations between economy and politics in the global “scenario” will be treated. In addition, the course will address a monographic study of the main issues (historical, political, theoretical) related to the theme of "populism"
