- knowledge and understanding of the main aspects of the history of contemporary architecture (19th-20th centuries) and of the industrial archaeology;
- be able to contextualize from a chronological, geographical, authorial and cultural point of view the architectural works covered in the course program;
- be able to critically analyze the main morphological, typological and stylistic features of the works studied, using an appropriate specialized language;
- learning a valid method of analysis and understanding of architecture, which can be applied in cases different from those treated in the course.
