3. The cycle of infection and the ecology of a pathogen
4. the plant's immune system: regulation and synthesis of the main biochemical and structural defenses
MODULE 2: THE INTEGRATED DEFENSE STRATEGY (20 hours)
1. Agronomic and Physical control strategy
2. Chemical control: fungicides and insecticides
3. Biological control
4. Control strategies for insects harmful to integrated crop protection
5. The different aspects of the genetic and biotechnological approach to plant protection: genetic mixtures and transgenic plants
6. Prevention of mycotoxins
7. Sustainability and regulatory indicators
LABORATORY SESSIONS (12 hours).
Experiments of mycotoxin extraction from food matrices taken from the market
