DEL PRETE Antonella
(syllabus)
There will be two elements that will be constantly present: the multiple connections between the historical situation and the political reflection; the fundamental ideals and the most general questions from which every political theory is born. The course will be divided into two moments: 1) basic cultural elements will be provided, first of all linguistic and conceptual. Following the handbooks, the most common definitions of multiculturalism will be analyzed and discussed. 2) The different types of multiculturalism will be analyzed with greater care, providing students with elements of understanding and analysis of optional texts
