The teaching aims to provide the key concepts of the discipline and the keys to a correct interpretation of economic phenomena of collective interest. The course analyses the essential elements of economic theory, the functioning of markets and related distortions.
In this sense, the training objectives of the course are:
- knowledge and understanding of political economy as a science;
- knowledge and understanding of the basic concepts of the discipline;
- autonomy of judgement and critical understanding of the main economic phenomena;
- communicative ability to present acquired knowledge;
- implementation of learning skills.
