R. China, were performed investigations on Landau Levels (LLs) on Multilayer Silicene: under strong magnetic Field and low Temperature, under the supervision of Prof, Yi Do, November December 2023 In cooperation with CNR – ISM, measurements of Electronic Properties of UHV-MBE and Solution-Process Growth of CsSnBr 3 Perovskite Films by Synchrotron Radiation, were performed at IPE, and CARNAUBA beamlines at Sirius synchrotron in Campinas, Brasil, using all the beamtime allocated to proposal n. 20231387, and n. 20231388. Several perovskite samples prepared ex-situ were investigated in both beamlines. In particular, we studied the same samples, in order to extract, all their physical and chemical properties. 2019-2014 After retirements as an associate research scientist by the Istituto di Scienze dell’Atmosfera e del Clima (ISAC) of the National Research Council, in Rome Tor Vergata is a Member of An international agreement finalized for the maintenance of the POM aureolameters between the National Environment Research Council, Field Spectroscopy Facility, University of Edinburgh, Scotland and ISAC Rome Lecture on theoretical application of Skyradiomer POM 01-02, at the Sapienza University of Rome 2-6 July 2018, in the frame of the international summer school “Solar Radiation based established techniques for atmospheric observations, organized by ISAC, La Sapienza, ESA and others 2014 2005 Atmospheric aerosol plays a crucial role in global climatic models, as it is well known that it acts as a radiative forcing factor. As a full-time researcher, he has established with the University of Tokyo (Prof. T. Nakajima director of the center for the study of climate systems) and with the PREDE company in Tokyo a decades-long technical-scientific collaboration agreement that involved the development of a methodology for determining the columnar content of atmospheric aerosol. This technique involved: the creation of an instrument, named aureolameter for measuring the effects of the aerosol on the incident solar radiation seen under various angles with respect to the position of the sun. And of an inversion algorithm (Skyrad code) for the derivation of the optical thickness and of the complex refractive index of the aerosol. After several years of improvements on software and hardware based on both laboratory tests and measurement field campaigns conducted in different locations around the world (Antarctica, Tierra del Fuego, Canada Pacific and Atlantic coasts etc) and in conjunction with similar and complementary measures carried out by foreign partners for the purpose of comparing results and methodologies, the system has been deemed suitable and reliable in order to use it in a geographical network monitoring atmospheric aerosol. The Skynet network combines the one managed by NASA called Aeronet but based on another instrument, and it is going to integrate it first in Asia and then in Europe. The European Skyrad users network, which includes all the European PREDE aureolameter users, was born later. Collaborates with CNR Instituto di Struttura della Materia, Tor Vergata Roma, on the characterization of electronic and magnetic properties of diluted semiconductors. Also develops the necessary software to a home made measurement system called MOKE, able to assess the magnetization of samples based on their ability to rotate the plane of polarization of a laser beam incident on the surface of the sample itself. 2004 Appointed as professor by university of Viterbo for a 90 hours course on Biometeorology 2001 -1993 Several international field measurements campaigns for measuring atmospheric aerosol columnar load calibration and inter comparison of the results with other instruments and/or techniques: Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, at the Kejingigik Nat. Park, Canada, in collaboration with the Environment Canada and Dalhousie University in Halifax, Pacific campaign 2001, air quality monitoring, held in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada Oceanographic cruise aboard the ship URANIA designed to characterize the energy balance of the sea-air interface in the Mediterranean.
